Assumpció Malagarriga i Rovira

is a musician who has specialized in cultural administration and education.

For twenty-two years she has taught music at various levels, ranging from primary and secondary schools to university level as well as at music schools. She has been involved in the field choral conducting, working with adults and adolescents, as well as several training groups for teachers.

Assumpció Malagarriga i Rovira was responsible for the Music Education Program in IMEB (Barcelona’s department of education), and has been managing L’Auditori:Educa since 2000.
In 2009 she wrote Que sigui difícil deixar d’escoltar (“Let’s make it difficult to stop listening”), a book in which she explains the philosophy behind and the activities of the project sponsored by L’Auditori:Educa.
