Compagnie Bodecker & Neander

Wolfram von Bodecker& Alexander Neander got to know each other while studying at the "Ecole Marcel Marceau" in Paris. The COMPAGNIE BODECKER & NEANDER was established in 1996. One of their main inspirations is music. Their first visual concert together, with Gewandhaus-Oktett Leipzig in 1999, was the result of this inspiration: “Concert visuel en Françaix”. It seemed as if the music of Jean Françaix was just made for a journey full of imaginative and musical pictures. The audience at the Gewandhaus Leipzig and the Semperoper Dresden was absolutely thrilled. After this success, the musical world started to become more and more interested in them. Since then, more visual concerts have been developed with different partners like the Stuttgarter Kammerorchester, the Arditti Quartett London, the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie and a production called "Bonjour Monsieur Satie" for the Konzerthaus Berlin.
