Annette Kristina Banse

Annette Kristina Banse studied literary criticism and musicology at Osnabrück University, from where she received her Master of Arts. She began to study classical dancing when she was 5 years old. Numerous engagements as a singer, especially in operetta and musical productions, form part of her career. She works as a freelance author for radio features, writes programme notes for concerts and texts for children's concerts. She has been working together with her husband Hans Christian Schmidt-Banse for many years in projects like opera radio plays for children or where literary and musical performances are combined. For two years now, she has been working for the NDR radio station in Hannover as an author and speaker for a concert series for children. She has two daughters named Pauline and Johanna.
