YEAH! The Festival will be back!

13 to 20 November 2011 in Osnabrück

After the overwhelming success of the first YEAH! Award in 2011, the decision was taken to hold the YEAH! competition on a biennial basis. In autumn 2012 starts the call for proposals for the next YEAH! Award. The award ceremony takes place on 14 September 2013 at the end of the second YEAH! festival in Osnabrück.

Review | The first YEAH! Festival | 13 to 20 in Osnabruck

In November 2011 the first YEAH! Festival in Osnabrück came to an end, culminating in the price giving ceremony of the first Young EARopean Award for music education.

A week full of music, workshops and lectures where artists from 8 different countries were presenting their projects in altogether 26 venues. Apart from schools they went into usual and unusual spaces spread all over the city.

On the following pages you can check out what was happening during the festival and which artists have been involved.

You can find the virtual version of our programme book here.

We will keep you updated regarding the future plans for the festival and the award.

The YEAH! Young EARopean Award is a project of the Stiftung Stahlwerk Georgsmarienhütte (Georgsmarienhütte Steelworks Foundation) and the netzwerk junge ohren (network young ears).
